Elvis Perkins In Dearland w/ The Low Anthem – 2009-04-29 Horseshoe Tavern – Toronto, ON
Elvis Perkins was in town last month at the Horseshoe. Opening the show was The Low Anthem. Unfortunately for me, I had not heard of them before this. They quickly grabbed my attention and kept it for their 40 minute set. Elvis Perkins and band played for about 80 minutes. I really enjoyed their set. Like The Low Anthem, they also threw in a few covers of some older tunes. I might get around to posting the whole recordings eventually.
